There were three specific achievements in the field of medicine made by the Abbasids during the Golden Age. Ibn Sina was one of those achievements. Ibn Sina wrote a book called Canon Of Medicine. It like an encyclopedia. It was a book that mixed old medicine with new medicine. It served as the leading medical textbook for 600 years! Another achievement was Al-Razi. Al-Razi made a discovery that patients healed better when they were in a clean setting. Al-Razi would determine a site for a hospital and then hang meat.
