The Fifth Horseman The four horsemen: Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death are the harbingers of the apocalypse, serving chaos and destruction on all of humanity. The Bible forgot to mention the Fifth Horseman: Kyle, whom the other four can’t seem to ditch. Death was the oldest. He was mankind 's oldest enemy. For as long as anyone could remember, people have died and come to him. Mankind fights an endless war against him. Though they might stifle his actions, Death is patient. He knows that eventually, all comes to him.Today, Death roams the earth, disguised as a obstetrician. Pestilence was Death 's brother. He brought plague among the lands. Staining the Earth black with disease and plague. His method of fueling Death’s plea for souls was slow and excruciating. Mankind have begun to starve him off. Disease was beaten by technology and has faded into irrelevance. Pestilence resides as a Doctor in Manhattan. Famine was as old as Death and predated man. Famine worked with Death to deprive Mankind of their main source of strength; food and fuel. He has rotted grain and destroyed crop. All affected by him were beaten by starvation and eventually came to Death. However, Mankind fought Famine off. They improved irrigation methods and grew a surplus of food. They developed a method to deflect his hand so they were no longer deprived of food and strength. Thus, Famine, as Pestilence, faded into irrelevance. Famine spends his waiting days as a chef.
