Fahrenheit 451 is a novel by Ray Bradbury in which takes place in a futuristic American city in the 24th century, a time where owning books is forbidden. In this futuristic society, people do not read books, enjoy nature, or have meaningful conversations. Consequently, the people watch excessive amounts of television, drive tremendously fast, and have “Seashell Radio” sets attached to their ear at all times.
