Hi, I’m Becca and I’m here to tell you the story about how I became a survivor. It all began about two years ago in August when my friends Jamie, Paul, Brad and I heard a legend about some sort of creature lurking in the woods nearby. When my friends and I heard about this we got very curious, could there really be a creature lurking in the woods? Is it dangerous? There’s only one way to find out, to spend the night in the woods.

A day after we heard the legend I got a call from Brad.
“Hello.”
“Hey Becca, Paul, Jamie, and I are spending the night in the “haunted” woods and we wanted you to come with us.”
“ I would love to come Brad, when are we leaving?”
“we’ll pick you up at 6:00 before it gets dark so we can set up.” “ Okay thanks, …show more content…

Ready for tonight?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be.” Jamie said with a smile on her face. We all giggled. Everyone was so excited for tonight.

A decent amount of time went by, we were almost at the woods. Paul and Jamie fell asleep in the backseat because they said they wanted to stay up the whole night searching for the creature. Brad parked the car on the side of the road.
“ Yo, we’re here.”
“Okay I’ll get Jamie and Paul up.”
I turned around facing Paul and Jamie and shook their leg to try to get them up “Guys we’re here, wake up.” I said in a whisper
“Okay Okay, we’re up. No need to make us think there’s an earthquake, Jesus!” Jamie said with a giggle.
“Okay sorry, haha!”
I noticed that Paul looked anxious, he was up but he didn’t respond to what Jamie and I were saying. Which was pretty strange for him because usually he talked all the time unless he was tired. I didn’t bother him because I thought he would be fine by the time we set up.

We all got out of the car and grabbed our bags and started walking toward the woods, we walked a decent amount into the woods and we found a pleasant spot to set up. Paul ran in front of us and had a serious look on his face.
“Guy’s just chill out for a bit, I’ll set up for you
