Many years ago, the ancient Greek society believed in many Gods. The Gods would help or punish them. There was a God of the sea, God of love, God of farming, God of parties, and many others. The people of ancient Greece centered their lives around the Greek Gods. One God that affected the ancient Greek military was Ares.
Demeter is often resembled to our modern day Mother Nature. Aphrodite Aphrodite is the Goddess of love, beauty, sexuality, and protection. There are many versions to how her story began, most famously known to have risen from sea foam. It is believed that because of her beauty the Gods feared that their rivalry over her would disturb peace, therefore Zeus married her to Hephaestus because of his ugliness.
Years ago when gods and goddesses still roamed the Earth, the Goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, fell in love with a mortal.
