Imagine that you are in early 1920s and your neighbor is in love with your cousin but she is married, would you help him get back with your cousin? The great Gatsby is by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Gatsby is in love with daisy buchanan, nick carraway cousin. He is desperately trying to reconnect with her with the help of jordan baker. Tom buchanan and myrtle wilson are responsible for gatsby death. Tom take gatsby's car but knowing that he must refuel, also showing it to george and myrtle wilson. Daisey is feeling heat between tom and gatsby. Daisy is wanting to go to town and get a room to cool down. Tom insisted on taking gatsby car. “Well you take my cope and let me drive your car”(121). This shows that tom is temporarily taking gatsby car and gatsby take tom’s cope He went to george wilson garage to fuel up, showing george and myrtle the yellow car. This event made tom a future suspect to the murder of myrtle. The only way for tom to drive gasspy car was to agree to refuel it. The understanding tom get gas at the wilson’s garage where he show george and myrtle the yellow car, and that put a bullseye on tom back for george to aim at. Myrth is being lock in the house for two days till they move. Myrtle saw a familiar car that she saw tom driving earlier in the day and ran to it to talk to him. Gatsby states “It seem to me that she wanted to speak to thus, thought we were somebody she knew”(143). Myrtle ran into the road thinking it was somebody she knew. Myrtle did not think to not run into the road at night. Since running into the road blindly and hoping the drivers will stop is a unintellucal decision and fatal decision.myrtle is responsible for gatsby death because she was foolish and made george wilson think that tom is the person responsible for gatsby
