TThe constellation was made by the greek god Ares. The Greek warriors wanted a constellation that represented them and that represented their god of war. Some natural phenomena that happens is amazing designs on the desert floor that if you dig under you find crazy rich minerals and weapons that date back to 400 BC. In this myth the creation of the world was from Ares because he wanted creatures that followed his orders and that were a lot like him. Most of the men were warriors but the women were not warriors. Ares then decided to call his warriors spartans. The spartans believed in their god and showed respect towards him but lived their own lives and sometimes ignored him. But when there were other warriors attacking them they didn’t know what to do. They never met others from different places. They all noticed that the warriors were not men… they were women. Then everyone heard a loud female voice and she said her name was Athena. Ares then saw what was happening and stopped the attack on his people.
