The help

1. My favorite character was Skeeter. She was my favorite because of how brave and how much she wanted to make a change. She was so determined and never gave up, when so many other people would have she just kept at it and made a difference. She added her passion and deterinmation to the story. Her weakness was her mother being sick. Her being sick sometimes Skeeter didnt know what to do. She was scared of losing her. Also Stuart was her weakness because she was so in love with him even though he didnt agree with her decisions.

I dont think that they all realized how awful they treated the help. I think that this book really will teach the women of Jackson. They finally get to see the other view point and not just theirs. I think most of the ladies will change but there will be few ladies like Hilly that are too stubborn to change. I think that people character is shaped in the times they live in because back then the thing was to have a maid and treat the blacks differently just like everyone else did. Now a days blacks run some companies and are bosses of white people. I think that the times you live really have a affect on what you beileve because people usually do whatever the cool thing is at the time and just go with what everyone else is
