He pledges his faith to the Sith and listens to Palpatine and goes to the Jedi temple where younglings are being trained. Anakin starts his villain journey at the temple where he and storm troopers slaughter all the younglings in the temple in an attempt to end the Jedi order. Anakin then goes to Mustafar to wipe out the Separatist leaders. During this period of time, Obi-Wan shows up with Padme in his ship. Here Anakin faces another challenge where his mind is also being messed with and believes his wife Padme is turning against him and here he force chokes Padme and we see she is passed out. Then another challenge comes along where Anakin is forced to fight his old master Obi-Wan where in the end Anakin is left almost dead with his legs chopped off by a lightsaber. Then after Palpatine finds him, we learn that his hero times are officially over and he is fully turned to the dark side under the rule of Emperor
