The Homeless and Our Tax Dollars: Is it Worth It? Gladwell's "Million-Dollar Murray" raises questions about the social cost and moral value of spending tax dollars on the homeless. This essay shows that being homeless is not a persons choice and this is an issue which needs to be solved by changing the system and not blaming the person. The third quote, "Why should taxpayers have to pay for the misfortunes of others?" (Malcolm Gladwell, 2006, pg 6),This quote shows that how shellfish gladwell is and he does not care about others who need help and does not care about giving out to the society. This is not counts as charity but it also shows how much you are responsible as a citizen. Some homeless who have disabilities or are abuse by the society and some who have served military in past and they do deserve support from us and they do not deserve to be neglected.

The fourth quote, "The moral of the story of Murray Barr is that the biggest problem with homelessness may be that we think about it the wrong way" (O’ Bryan, 2006, pg 5), He want to explore this problem to its roots and he thinks that we are not getting the problem correctly we have to get a better view on it.
