The mood of the scene is sad, unfortunate, tense. The scene under the pre-sett of the story is basically sentencing the ones selected to death, because of how that the district they came from have basically no money to train them through the hunger game, there for if any one were to be chosen they’re fate can almost be described as destined to be doomed. With in the short clip there was several scene from which you can tell that it was a sad and emotional scene, even sentimental. For example when Katniss sister were chosen for the game, rest of the girls instead of any sudden reaction, they instead looked at her with a pity glance, and then how that during all of the scenes not one smile or one act of happiness were shown, these can generally explain how that this scene was a sad scene. For further on explanations, how that Katniss was willing to sacrifice her self, and the fact that she was sacrificing her self, we can tell how scary this game can be. This perfectly represent how that Prim went from being tensed and worried to be chosen like the rest of the crowd, to know that she’s going to the hunger game and where the worry became real troubles.
