Jon Spoelestra’s Ice to the Eskimos was very interesting and informative. Throughout the entire book, Spoelestra reflected upon the experiences and knowledge that he gained from working in the sports industry. One interesting aspect of the book was Spoelestra’s principle that organizations should design “an offer that consumers cannot refuse” (Spoelestra, 1997, p. 199). This was particularly interesting to me because of my interest in finance. Initially, I thought that if you make an offer too good, that you could potentially be losing out on some profit, however, after reading this book, this principle makes perfect sense.
One Man, Two Guvnors is a play written by Richard Bean based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni. This is the most contemporary play we have read during this course and it also had the most humor. This play is very light hearted and funny, most of the comedy seems to come from physical harm between the characters and also the ignorance of many of them. The main character is Francis Henshall, he is the servant of both Stanley Stubbers and Rachel Crabbe but both think that they are his only master. Throughout the play Francis creates many diversions so that Stanley and Rachel don’t find out that Francis is working for both of them.

Sasquatched was the longest play that I have seen in life so far, as an un-experienced musical watcher. From the beginning to the end of the musical production I was hooked, whether it was from jokes that were incorporated into the story, or from the message that the story was trying to portray to the audience members. The book, music and lyrics were written by the very talented Phil Darg, who is a North Hennepin Community College Alumnus. The musical Sasquatched was directed by the one and only Mike Ricci, the acting was done by the talented and few theatre artists from North Hennepin, along with a couple other people from the community. All of these individuals helped create the magical musical that is Sasquatched.
Gone Fishing Fishing has been around since the beginning of time. About 100 years ago a new invention had anglers in a frenzy, it was one of the world 's first fishing lures of many to come. In the early 1960s, a man named Lauri Rapala from Finland handcrafted artificial minnows out of balsa wood (New York Times). Word got around to America and fisherman went crazy.

A desperate travel agent faking his way through life tries to save his mother’s ranch in Australia by pretending that their family home is an exclusive resort for a potential wealthy investor. STORY COMMENTS DIRT CHEAP presents as a fun and entertaining comedy. The premise is considered high concept and one can easily imagine the script as a film. The eccentric characters feel genuine and they can make for good comedic characters that could attract talent.
Personally, this scene is very touching to me and burn into my memory as the idea that human is such a vulnerable
The entire audience was laughing during most of the production, I was even laughing out loud, which doesn’t happen very often. Every interaction between the characters was comical at one point during the production. An example of this playing out would be in the second act when Rascher busts through the door and proclaims his engagement. The only purpose of this is to entertain and entertain it did. The actors seemed natural moving along with their blocking and engaging with each other on stage.
I was satisfied with the action and the visuals. This is what it needs and accomplishes. It is certainly a guilty pleasure of my
It was precise with that scene and gave us a sign that something bad was about to happen. In that same scene, I thought that Brulov had died. I was not expecting that twist in the movie. The dramatic music and tension was perfectly captured through camera and well
The Secret River by Kate Greenville, is a fictional story that provides the audience with a more realistic approach to the interaction between the Native aboriginals and British settlers during the colonisation of Australia, the book was adapted into a play by Andrew Bovell. The play was first performed in 2013 and it depicts the time of colonisation in Australia and the negative effects it had on the Aboriginal culture. The play criticises the European settler’s lack of understanding or respect for the Aboriginal culture, with no attempt made to relate to with the indigenous population. The history behind the play reveals how many of the settlers were ex-convicts who were forced into coming to Australia. The author reflects the unwillingness
Both the play ‘We Live by the Sea’ and the lyrics of ‘Waiting for My Real Life to Begin’ explore a similar idea that happiness and fulfilment stem from acceptance. The director Alex Howarth in ‘We Live by the Sea’ explores the idea that acceptance of oneself and others is required for happiness, where as Colin Hay explores that if one does not accept their life they are ultimately unhappy and unfulfilled. Alex Howarth expresses his idea through stage property, with the use of a visual schedule to demonstrate that Katy’s daily life is a set of rules and rituals that keep her feeling safe. She wakes at the same time every day, will only drink a certain brand of juice, time in the shower is strict 'exactly 5 plus 5 plus 5 because that 's the
Although, many people enjoy sport fishing it is immensely cruel to the fishes health both mentally and physically. Some people also agree that catching fish to eat them is OK to do, but I disagree. First and foremost, most fish that get caught end up dying. Fish have nerves which means they can feel pain. When you catch a fish its traumatizes it.
Abstract Angling is a certain method of fishing that consists of a person using a hook and a line, which is normally connected to a rod. It is a safe and efficient way for fishermen to catch fish and release them with ease. With such an up and coming sport (fishing), it is important to avoid methods that cause overfishing and any harm to the fish that could result in an injury or death. There are a lot more good qualities that have to do with angling over all of the alternative methods.
