It gave information which is important to modern day society and how it runs. It also taught people that no matter how bad the situation you should always have hope because it could be the only thing that keeps you from going insane with worry or depression caused by thinking about all of the bad thing that could happen to you or your family. Anne Frank stayed hopeful even when the odds weren’t exactly in her favor. She found a way to change all the bad situations into something better. What people should take away from this story is to always have hope and never let anyone or anything take it from you.

Because of the oppression of the Jews, Anne and her family are forced to go into hiding. Anne, her mom Edith, her dad Otto, her sister Margot, Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, Peter Van Daan, and Mr. Dussel.
On June 12th, 1942, Annelies Marie “Anne” Frank received a diary from her parents. Little did they know that the diary would later become one of the most critical pieces of information in World War II. In the beginning of her diary, it was just like any other teenage girl’s diary. She led a normal life, worrying about what she’d wear tomorrow or what her friends are doing.
Anne Frank was a 16 year old girl who was killed during the time of the Natzis after being betraied. From her over packed diary, Anne changed how people looked at the world. When she was hiding in the annex during the war, her diary was her most prized possession and with that diary, she wrote everything from things she did, to what she wished she did instead of hiding in the annex for the years. She was in the annex with 8 people including her and was packed, one bit of noise would give them away. After the war was over, Anne’s diary was published and written in 67 different languages and over 30 million copies were sold.
This story is abut a girl that was writing her daily days while she was in the holocaust She was venting her fears and frustrations, and contemplating her everyday life. She was given the diary as a present from her parents in 1942, and named it Kitty. Through her diary writing, Anne Frank was in many ways her own counsellor in a time of great suffering and tribulation. She realized that writing down her thoughts and feelings could help her cope with the anxiety of the war and Nazi persecution.

In my opinion, Pose did in fact made a convincing argument that Anne Frank’s diary was a very carefully crafted work of literature. She used examples from other sources, and touched on counterclaims about Anne’s work. She held to the statement that Anne Frank was a great writer and was mature for her age which was shown through her writing. Growing up she told us how much she loved her diary, and had read it over and over and each time had a deeper understanding of it.
Many people think of cult as a new illness or anomalies. In the book of Cult written by Marc Galanter, he talks about what the cult is, and how they become one whole group including why people join in to the group. A cult is form when groups of people who are bound together have similarities beliefs, seeking for healing or could be other purpose. People in this group share a charismatic performance. Charismatic groups are mostly created from cohesiveness which consist of sharing belief system, social cohesion, behavioral norms, and charismatic leader.
Just take a minute and really think about this, imagine living in a secluded house not able to talk too loud, or move around too much for 25 months. Well, this is what Anne Frank and her family had to do. Along with the Franks, one other family, and another man lived in the annex for the 25 months. The Franks moved from Germany to Amsterdam when the Jews were beginning to be persecuted. When the Franks received a letter saying that there daughter Margot was required to come to a working camp, they went into hiding.

Anne Frank was an adolescent girl that document her experience during the Holocaust. Anne was a Jew and during this duration Jews were treated crudely. She went into hidding to stay unassailable. During this time her only friend was her diary "Kitty". "Kitty" was her only friend that made her feel appropriate to express her feeling and emotion about everything.
4th grade was the first time I read “The Diary of a Young Girl.” Even as a ten-year-old without much exposure to world history, and U.S. history beyond its most basic level, I empathized with a young girl not much older than I who, as a result of persecution, had to go into hiding or would otherwise face death. In eighth grade, I read the play adaptation of this diary in my English class, and we were told to write an essay on this question: “If you were in the place of those in hiding, what would you miss most?” For some reason, this question has stuck with me throughout the years. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a question most people want to avoid.

Over the course of the story other characters join the family into hiding such as Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, and their son Peter. During the time of hiding, Anne kept a diary to write down all her thoughts, fears, and feelings and was later known to be the most important piece of literature from the times of the Holocaust. The story takes you through their everyday lives of hiding in the annex which also includes arguing and times of happiness.
