“The only limitations you ever have in life are the ones you put in your mind.” This quote by Napoleon Hill changed the way I have faced various obstacles and is one that remains in my thoughts. It serves as a vivid reminder not give up at first glance or allow others limitations to steer my path. Instead, I learned to keep moving forward to surpass even my own expectations and achieve what others believe to be impossible. Looking back at all my experiences, the goals I have accomplished and the lessons I have learned otherwise, I realize that many were thought to have been out of reach. In addition, I 've been put down by others saying it would require more effort than I could provide, discouraging me from even attempting. However, when put through adversity and unforeseen situations, I was able to commit to a decision that has impacted my life far more than I ever thought possible. For as long as I can remember, I’ve strived to be a determined, sedulous person; I do everything in my power to accomplish the goals I have set in place for myself. During my time in high school, my goals and focus revolved around Friday night lights. Regretfully, football always came first and school came second. Unfortunately, I always seemed to limit myself when it came to my future endeavors following high school, but never when it came to playing football. Therefore, I put all my efforts into getting a district-wide award and for my team to earn a spot in the state playoffs. Football is
