Our society is shaped in a way that mandates that the citizens of our society are confined within the walls surrounding the City of Portland. The wall barrier makes it so people can live safely and happily without the distractions and dangers from outside of our peaceful society. We understand we can make our society perfectly equal in terms of opportunity, we will not have restrictions on physical differences. People will be expected to follow rules and boundaries inside the society, or else punishment will take place. Schools will be within walking distance from one another, accessible from the three housing developments. Because the animals in Animal Farm are so easily manipulated because of their ignorance, we want to give the citizens our society the best education possible so that they will be able to speak freely about their concerns. Every week there is a meeting in the community center where citizens can talk to the community leaders and address the problems the citizens feel they have. This way the citizens feel free to speak their mind and also feel that they can effect change within the community and are heard and cared about by the elected officials. Every two years these government officials face a new election period when they have to run again to keep their status of the government official. If an official is re-elected, he will stay in office for the next two years. He can continue in power as long as the people vote him into …show more content…

While in Animal Farm they do have a contingency plan in case the humans attack the farm again, it is not very effective and ends with the windmill being destroyed for the second time. Because of this, we have other soldiers guarding both the perimeter of our society and the government
