New York is a great town, filled with new sights and old friends. One of the many things that Bullard TALENT did in my 7th grade year while in New York was sight-see. Bullard TALENT traveled all over the city, observing the busy residents and the famous landmarks, like the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Central Park. While all of these places were unforgettable, in my opinion, the best thing that we got to see was a Broadway production of Aladdin. It was truly amazing. The singing, dancing, acting, and overall levels of energy were indescribable, as well as the vivid costumes, spectacular sets, and amazing experience. Ranging from paintings to sculptures to posters, all types of artwork can be found On Bullard TALENT’s campus. Of course, artistic expression is only to be expected when Bullard TALENT offers art, music, and dance classes to students. When time and effort is put into the upcoming generation, there is bound to be good results. In order to thank the teachers that helped the students achieve the skills that will last them a lifetime, students show what they have been taught through art. The final result is both a display of the student’s skills and homage to the people that helped them develop them. All of this creative expression makes Bullard TALENT seem more welcoming, and more like home. It also creates a friendly, warm atmosphere, full of love and friendship.
