The Importance Of Communication In Teaching

Communication is the driving force in any relationship or situation. We communicate on a continuous basis at home, work, and school. The issue of communicating has become more than a concern in the school, especially in each classroom because teaching is about setting up effective and affective communication relationships with the students (Wrench, Richmond, & Gorham, 2009). An effective teacher is an effective communicator. However, it is not easy for the teacher to try to communicate effectively to classrooms that are growing in size and may contain students who come from varied backgrounds. In this paper, I will share the problems that I have ever encountered in my teaching. Now, I am teaching at a private language center, my students include from kids to teenagers, and I also face to some issues in class.
First of all, the common problem to which I usually face in class is "classroom fatigue syndrome"; in another word, it means the boring classroom atmosphere. It occurs when students are bored, frustrated, exhausted, unmotivated or disinterested in their schoolwork and they will often show verbal or nonverbal misbehavior. They do not voluntarily communicate or participate in class discussions although they understand the questions or tasks and they never ask for assistance though they need some help. They completely lose their attention. Moreover, outdated, routine assignments and busywork create communication barriers; students do not want to interact with their
