Scientists have proven that you judge someone in a blink of an eye of how attractiveness and trustworthiness they are. They could think that within that second, you have completely given a first impression to someone, and it can not be changed. In the next three seconds, you form a conclusion about their personality. While an anonymous person may think that, here is why first impressions are able to be changed. Most of communication happens based on body language and on a nonverbal level. Humans use sensory factors to determine what they might think of someone new. Usually, someone will like another person better if they can relate to them on a personal reason. For instance, if someone looks/acts similar in looks, personality, attitude, behavior, and belief, they are more likely to show a connection and have a good first impression. If a person starts to act similar to the person they are trying to give an impression to, it could impact the final decision of the impression.
