Human rights, poverty, and social justice affects everyone in a different way, some more than others. Throughout my life in a small town, I was not completely educated on the topic of human rights and I didn’t quite know so much about the issues in the world around me, other than in my small town right before my eyes. As I grew older, I became exposed to the idea of human rights and how they can be violated. As time continued, I began to have this desire to help people who face the conflicting matter of human rights violations, poverty, and social justice. I just wasn’t sure where or how to start.

I say this because of the financial funding the government receives goes more towards prison systems for the criminals more than for the people suffering human rights violations. Change and solutions could be in the horizon if financial reasoning was available. To combat poverty, human rights violations, and social injustice the government and the citizens should collectively address these issues. Communication and funding are two primary actions to combat poverty, human rights violations, and social injustice.
Human rights violations, poverty, and social injustice are problematic for the entire population. It’s important to expose and properly educate the population on these issues and the effects that are included. As discussed in this essay, responsibility of these issues is challenging to decipher who’s more to blame.
