As humans, we are all dispositioned to feel fear, suspicion, and anxiety towards secrecy. These discomforts have led more than a hand full of people to speculate secret societies comprised of super elite politicians, millionaires, presidents, and influential public figures are working against the general public, and rather focus on manipulating politics, wars, and worldwide events in order to control the world and form a totalitarian one world government better known as the New World Order. Apart from conspiracy theorists, large religious groups such as Christians also claim a New World Order is in our midst since it is stated in scriptures in the bible. For religious adherents, a New World Order has been prophesized multiple time in the bible. Revelation 13 is the primary chapter where we can see a description of society under the rule of the Beast, also known as the Antichrist. “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” - Revelation 13:1-3 The beast is actually a metaphorical interpretation of the New World Order. Believers interpret the heads of the beast to be seven governments with strong political power. The Ten horns and ten crowns represent ten rulers who will hold political power at the time. Christian believe this beast will initiate the start of the apocalypse and control the world as we know it. From the outside world, it can be hard to understand these revelations, but it is important to comprehend that Christians are convinced of this prophecy and believe this New World Order will eventually threaten our worlds way of
