In the communication in our daily life, there are a lot of different matters between different people. Every individuals are born in different characteristics. They have various genes, characters and macroscopic features. That is why everyone cannot be exactly the same and there is no two identical people in the world. The six categories of different matters which are described and analyzed by communicating social identity in the book are gender, race, social class, ability, sexuality and age(Allen, xi). Some of them are inherent and some of them link to the growing environment and accumulation experience. Anyway, no matter what it is, the diversity of human and communities form the modern social civilization. They have brought a lot of impact to our social communication, which is good or bad. They are the value of the human development process. The categories can be a good way to help us to research the different identities of communities. I have a deep sense of identity with gender, social class and sexuality because I experienced relevant things. In my view, whether they are good or bad, all of them promote the development of individuals, and lead us to have a meaningful thinking. I will combine with my own experience and discuss these three types of matters.
For me, born as a girl is not a lucky thing in my primitive family. My grandparents came from the poor mountainous area in south province of China, Hunan. Most of the people in the village did not accept the
