Filipino – Philippines lingua franca has been the core national language in accordance to Kautusang Tagapagpaganap Bilang 134 by Manuel L. Quezon (1937). It has flourished and has been a medium of instruction passed from generations to generations. Filipino as the official language alleviates countrymen to express personal thoughts and feelings. It correlates and links group of people to other to achieve a congenial communication. It has a wide range of worth, used by different group to communicate in places like government offices, public establishments and schools. As expressed by Villafuerte (2014), “Removing Filipino subject in the new GEC is not just a local issue; it is a moral issue that goes against the integrity of our race”. Different laws were enforced to have an official language. It is through Filipino language that we are identified as Filipino, it manifest cultural aspects and conviction as a citizen of the Philippines. Filipino language is a key to achieve peace and unity among Filipinos. Filipino language symbolizes nationality and the integrity of human race and that the government should take their part to widen the manipulation of the Filipino language. CHED Memorandum Order No. 20, Series of 2013 is against the 1987 Philippine Constitution. It aims to remove Filipino subject in 2016 as a part of the new General Education Curriculum. It clearly states that college student would have less literacy and intellection with the national language. Article XIV
