Leaders are not all created equal, nor should they be because every person has something different to bring to the table when it comes to accomplishing like missions. While each person in a leadership role may share the same power or mission, that does not mean they will complete it in the same way. When I think about how I have lead people, in the past and present, to complete task that are assigned to me, I can see how other leaders would not like my method. I was brought up in the military style leadership training process of you must be able to do the things that you want your people to do. Burnout in the workplace can happen when people experience physical, psychological, and spiritual fatigue (Bethel, 2017). Burnout can happen when people over-work themselves, work with the wrong type of people, and even when they are in the wrong career path. How can you deal with burnout? Depending on the type of person, dealing with workplace burnout can be dealt with in many ways, such as, change of career, or promotion. Just that change of location or responsibility could lead someone to be rejuvenated, and refocus them on the career they are working in. Someone like myself, I love to take a vacation and just get away from the work environment and just decompress. Going to a beach and relaxing for a week refills my battery and makes me enjoy getting back to work. One way to promote healthy activities and behavior is to allow time to break away from the stress of our jobs and fortify our bodies through leisure and exercise (Jones, W. D., & Daigle, K., 2018). Exercise is another way people can deal with the stressors of the workplace and steer themselves away from workplace burnout. Ultimately, there is always going to be stress in the workplace in some form, the key to defeating it is, to have an outlet that is outside the workplace that allows you to release the built-up
