It all started as early as the 1600’s, during slavery time. When the –N- word was discovered it was used for categorizing African Americans. Now these days using the –N- word would cause so much controversy among the person using it. The –N- word is one of the everyday words that get put to use through anger and arguments. When different races are referring to an African American as an –N- word, that would automatically start controversy and it could end violent. Even in the school system of all grades the –N- word has caused altercations and diversity among the students. I remember when I was growing up the –N- word was a curse word and I could not ever use it. I remember when I was a young boy going to the gas station and I saw two guys arguing, one was Caucasian and the other was African American. The Caucasian guy called the African American the –N word- and they started fighting. While they were fighting they both was struck by a car and both needed medical attention. That’s why everyone need to watch what they say to strangers, especially the people that is a different race. However, for some people that abuse the –N- word that usually means it started at a young age.
Most people are introduced to the –N- word at a very young age because of what goes on in school. I know a kid that has a foul mouth and I asked him where did he learn that from and he said school. He told me that it is all he hears while he is in school. Now these days that is why some children think it is ok to use the –N- word. The –N- word divide children also while they are in school. It makes children only have conversations with their same race or a close friend. Even though, the children don’t know the meaning it is still disrespectful to the
