Today’s advertising might seem a little funny now and days. With the use of humor companies can now reach generations of a different age. According to US population projections, the younger generation makes up 32% of today’s consumers. Using a well know celebrity, funny events with unknown actors or even a viral video found on YouTube can entice a large number of that percentage. The youth of today can be brought in to purchase a product using a variety of different tactics, but this day and age, laughing is what sells. Actors, comedians, sports athletes can be used to sell a product. They consume our daily lives by being in the news, on tv and internet.
