The Kids are Alright The kids are alright is an interesting movie to watch. It is about a lesbian family that has two wonderful kids. Children grown up they decided to meet their donor father. From that day, problems start to appear in their family. Donor father changed them and made them to look at themselves from other side. In this movie there are issues like women stereotypes, lesbian family, and parents don’t understand kids. We all know about the women stereotypes. It is believed that women must sit at home and look after children. They must cook and clean, that’s all. In this movie woman stereotypes were seen clearly. This lesbian family had a masculine women and feminine women. The woman who was like a man in the family was acting as usual men. She was the head of the family, everyone must listen to her, and her decisions were always right. She wanted her partner to sit at home and not work. The feminine woman was a usual woman that wanted to work and get out of the house. Those two women were usual family that has one man that is a leader and the other was a woman that is under her partner and must listen to her.

In this a lesbian family there are many problem their where shown in this movie. The problem of kids that what to know their father. I think, this is the biggest problem, because they created a family and they didn’t want to get somebody else in their family. Lesbian families are always coming through this problem, because many kids and mostly boys want to know who their father is especially when they have two parents’ women. Also, lesbian family can have a problem that kids will not understand or not like that they have two moms. I think, the boy in this family didn’t like. Lastly, when a lesbian family has a boy, it is hard to grow him up. He wants to see a father near his, not two
