Today was a day of astounding realisation as I had set my eyes upon a face of innocent beauty; “the princess of Phoenix Mountain” (pg. 20). When I saw her, her bodacious beauty seized my attention, causing my heart to tremble in an unfamiliar way. It all began whilst Luo and I were on our way to visit Four - Eyes. We passed by the only tailor on the mountain, her father, who was being carried by the peasants and his distinctive yet archaic sewing machine noticed behind him. Following that we made a visit to the Little Seamstress as well as lengthened Luo’s pants. The Little Seamstress’s rose - coloured canvas shoes together with the fine shape of her feet and ankles, enveloped in white nylon socks, allured the attention of eyes in a place where nearly everyone went barefoot. Her long pigtail draping over her neck neatly tied with a red silk ribbon accentuating her oval face, and the sparkle in her eyes resembled stars in the dead of night, gleaming with an untamed quality yet to discover...
