In the movie “The Lovely bones” Susie dies and is taken to a place that is suited to her and brings her peace. But there is no god or higher being in her heaven it could be because she didn’t believe in a higher power. Or because in her heaven she was focused on how she died and her family not a higher being. Susies heaven is peaceful, it doesn’t just take one form it shows her what is happening to her loved ones. In a way different things are symbols of events that have happened and of her family members or just those she cared about.

The boy she met and fell in love with told her to meet him at the gazebo the next day. Susie was never able to meet him at the gazebo so one appears in her heaven as a reminder of him. Her father Jack would make ships in bottles, in a couple of occasions she had helped her father. In one version of her heaven when her father is upset she sees an ocean with the ship 's her father made being broken. My childhood was filled with violence and alcoholism, that is not I would want to see in my heaven. There are also people i would not want to remember, not because they hurt me although it could be a factor but it would be people that haven’t been active in my life. A people I wish I could give the world to is my mother and a couple of close friends. My mother has given me the things my father never did, she didn’t turn her back on me and cared for me even with the things she was going through. And I have a couple of close friends that have helped me in situations that have shaped me to be the person I am
