Lizzie Borden, who lived in Fall River MA, was a suspect for the double axe murder of her two parents, Andrew and Abby Borden. You are told what occured, who is responsible, and what is being done, yet you do not accept or believe any of it to be true. As a productive and law abiding citizen of the United States you demand and deserve the truth from your government, all we receive is falsified and inaccurate information, resulting in not only the containment of the truth but also the creation of various misleading and illogical conspiracies that perplex the public. Who assassinated President JFK? The concealment of the truth and the mysterious aspects leading up to the event lead to one conclusion that disproves the other conspiracies, the JFK assassination was an inside job organized by the CIA.
The Real Devil? Imagine living in the nice part of LA back in the 1960s where nothing bad really happened, Then all of a sudden there are 2 vicious killings in 2 nights. This was the case for the people who lived in LA at the time of the murders. Charles Manson was the man behind these attacks.
Charles Manson came under the
Serial Killer: Charles Manson Charles Manson was born on November 12, 1934. Even today Charles Manson is serving life at the Corcoran State Prison in California since 1971. Charles Manson had murdered a total of seven people during his early life but said to carry out about 35 kills total. He has been sentenced to life in prison since the death penalty was abolished during the time of him being imprisoned. In 1969 on August 10th, Charles Mason and six other family members had committed another murder right after the Tate murder.
Manson moved to California in 1955 which is when his crime began in that area. Charles Manson was first brought to the public’s attention in 1969 when his followers and himself were put on trial for committing a set of viscous murders. He was the leader of the infamous Manson family cult which carried out at least seven gruesome
Manson was obviously in charge of his cult members and as he dictated what was to be done to the victims, he also dictated what his cult members in the courtroom said. It was seen how they fought hard to take the blame and stand up for Manson (Ramsland, 2005). Manson’s cult was built upon something peculiar and bizarre possessed by his followers. This can be seen in the three girls that committed the murders who all possessed a syndrome of hostility and rage that preexisted their encounter with Manson (Ramsland, 2005). Each member had some inner flaw that Manson knew how to unleash and manipulate.
The famous murder of Sharon Tate Polanski occurred when Manson was 35 years old. Using his convincing personality, Mason had persuaded four members of the Manson family to invade the home of actress Sharon Tate and director Roman Polanski in Los Angles. They murdered Tate, who was eight and a half months pregnant, along with three friends who were visiting at the time, and an 18-year-old visitor, who was slain as he was departing the
The day of September 7, 1996, the beloved American hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur was fatally shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. The murder still has not been solved till this day, but there are suspicions that he was killed by Christopher Wallace a.k.a The Notorious B.I.G a rival rapper,Orlando Anderson who was a former Crip member who Tupac had an argument with prior to the shooting. The shooting took place at at around 11:00–11:05 pm they had been pulled over by on Las Vegas Boulevard by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department bicycle police for blasting their car stereo too loud and not having license plates on the vehicle. The plates were apparently found in the trunk of Knight's car a few minutes later, so
The Manson murders presented the Los Angeles Police Department and sheriff's department with an incredibly complicated investigation: multiple crime scenes with multiple victims, plus multiple — and different — perpetrators at each scene. Initially, separate teams were investigating the Tate and LaBianca murders, and the idea that they were connected was ignored [source: Sanders]. If not for a bit of luck and the fact that the family had committed numerous other crimes, Manson and his followers may have evaded capture much longer. A week after the murders, police raided Spahn Ranch, but not because of those heinous crimes.
The Manson family legacy continues to live on to this day. Both in true crime discourse as well as modern pop culture representations — Charles Manson has spawned countless documentaries, biographies, movies, and tv show cameos. Similarly, when Manson was on trial in 1969, he inspired a huge amount of audience/fan interaction. Women would send him letters, wanting to be part of his family even as he prepared for a life in prison.
Alison Umminger’s 2016 novel American Girls centers around the never forgotten Manson Murders. Throughout the novel there are inserts of horrific scenes from murders or deaths pictured in Roger and Delia’s movie such as: the hotel were the women drowned in the water tower and the dark room were the murderer hung his victims pictures on the wall. The author, Alison Umminger, made it a point to show that just because it is a story does not necessarily mean it is not real. The things that happen to Anna and Delia are very common, and by including the Manson Murders puts into perspective just how real these incidents are. By incorporating the presence of crime throughout American Girls, Alison Umminger gestures toward the unrelenting fact that
Helter Skelter, the song of a Beatles songs but also the phrase of one the most notorious cult leader. Charles Manson was a charming man with an idea of a perfect work for his perfect girls but that utopia quickly turned into a dystopia just like in the book 1984. A utopia is an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect (“Utopia”). A dystopia is an imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad (“Dystopia”). In 1984 Big Brother makes there world seem like a utopia by means of brainwashing, in The Family Charles Manson was a charming man that could brainwash a person just with words which made his seemless utopia a real life dystopia.
