Have you ever wondered what it would be like if technology ever took over the world? In the matrix, this is exactly what happens. Technology takes over human kind and gives them a false reality. The movie is about how select people can see what's going on isn't real, and break free from the false world around them. Neo, who is the main character in the movie, is the only one who can break down this matrix by seeing past the illusion. Neo and a few other characters take the journey to be free from being bound by technology. The theme of the movie is freedom.

Towards the beginning of the movie, you see trinity running from a man who looks like he could be apart of the secret service. She is wanted by the man but at the time the reason is unclear. This man is wearing sunglasses which can show authority. Authority comes with being bound by rules and this restricts freedom. The police are also on the chase for trinity. As the camera follows the police, all of the cops are squeezed inside the shot while it follows them chasing her. They are all trapped inside the shot, and gives them shallow space. The agent goes after Neo to fight him after he came back, and he puts his hand behind his back and acts like nothing in the world could bother him. Neo then realizes that he can really do anything and can't be held back anymore. He kick some the agent back with his foot in a inhumanly way, and watches him fly down the hall. Soon after the agent gets up, he runs towards him and enters through his body and destroys him from the inside out. After this, the phone rings and Neo goes back to reality.
