Premise: Judges are trusted to exercise their moral judgment at their own discretion because they have a lot of expertise and experience in law.

Justification: Judges have a lot of expertise in law and experience when it comes to sentencing offenders. Since judges have experience in these things, they should be able to freely exercise their moral judgment at their own discretion. Judicial discretion is a very important part of sentencing.
