Rainsford a celebrated hunter falls overboard in the Caribbean and swims to a nearby island called ship trap island. A rich hunter living on the island named Zaroff takes him in and gives him food cloths and shelter. He tells him about his hunting then tells about his new animal. Rainsford realizes he means humans and is out raged when Zaroff offers to take him hunting. Zaroff sends Rainsford off with a knife a set of cloths and food then starts to hunt him.
The short story “The Most Dangerous Game’’, Rainsford was justified in killing General Zaroff . Rainsford is a hunter who fell off a yacht at Ship Trap Island where he meets General Zaroff. General Zaroff is a hunter too. He stays on the island and hunts. Rainsford and General Zaroff are fighting to their death because General Zaroff wants to hunt Rainsford.
I have read the short story, “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell. In this story, Rainsford, a faimed author and hunter, falls off his ship and winds up on an island where he meets a man. This man turns out to be a former Russian General, General Zarroff. General Zarroff , it just so happens, is a hunter in his own but of a different nature. To escape the island he must outwit his host in the General’s own game of hunting.
In the story “The Most Dangerous Game,” Rainsford was guilty of cold blooded murder when he killed General Zaroff. Rainsford is a man that fall off a boat and landed on an Island called “Ship Trapped Island.” Rainsford heard a gunshot so he knows someone else is there. This when Rainsford mate General Zaroff, General Zaroff is a man who got tired of hunting animals so he hunts humans. Rainsford and General Zaroff ended up in a kill or be killed situation.
After having no other option than to play the game, Rainsford starts playing it by the rules to prove how honorable of a man he is. The latter comes very close to killing Zaroff using one of his cunning three traps. After escaping the third trap, Zaroff and his pack of hounds continue their chase. Rainsford then smartly gets away from the hunter by leaping into the sea and making his was back to
He is greeted by a man named General Zaroff. A hunter like him but something is off about him. He hunts Humans. The only animal that can reason. Rainsford is in a terrible situation.
Once Rainsford was on the island he met a man named Zaroff, a general who loved hunting but had become bored hunting animals so started hunting humans instead. Since the island was secluded, Zaroff was able to hunt people that were shipwrecked without getting caught. Eventually Zaroff decided to hunt Rainsford, who put up a good fight against his captor. Rainsford then found out how the animals felt when he had been hunting them and began to feel sympathy for them. His being hunted like an animal being hunted led him to figure out the value of life.
During his journey home he experiences many impeding steps, For example a cyclops battle, being trapped with the goddess Circe’s on her island, and being trapped with Calypso. In “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, Rainsford, the protagonist in the story, gets stranded on an island and is hunted by the antagonist General Zaroff. General Zaroff’s hunting sport is the hunting of Humans in the story. In both stories the main characters have to fight to survive against their foes.
Being hunted is like day’s hours, your life only last for a short amount of time. A hunter by the name Rainsford fell overboard his yacht and was stranded on a island. Rainsford met this savage man named General Zaroff, who hunted unexpected game that Rainsford wasn’t ready for. Rainsford will not hunt again because after being hunted and chased around in the woods by a savage-like man, he knows the feeling and the terror that the animal that’s being hunted feels.
Which liked to me called General Zaroff. Moving on in the story the general like to hunt as well but he liked to hunt humans. So Rainsford was being hunted. Rainsford had to create traps and all types of strategies to beat the general. By the end of the big hunt Rainsford had found a way to
Rainsford is initially shown to not show any empathy to the wild animals he hunts. Zaroff is no different, with him declaring, “I hunt the scum of the earth: sailors from tramp ships--lassars, blacks, Chinese, whites, mongrels,” (9). Zaroff hunts humans who have the unfortunate luck to arrive on Ship-Trap Island. Zaroff gives no second thought about hunting humans because he finds them to be the perfect sport to hunt, and finds pleasure in hunting them. Hunters believe animals are not capable of reasoning and they see them as something lesser than humans. Throughout time, these positions can change. General Zaroff is different, to say the least, in Richard Connell’s book, “The Most Dangerous Game.” Rainsford is stranded on a deserted island, or so he thinks. Rainsford comes upon a mansion that is owned by General Zaroff. He knows of Rainsford, who is a renowned author of a book about the hunt, as well as everything and everywhere Rainsford has hunted. General Zaroff is also a hunter, but he goes to the extreme.

Two hunters are on a yacht in the Caribbean Sea, when one falls off and washes up on an island. There, he meets General Zaroff, a man with only one desire. To hunt humans. He makes Rainsford (the man from the shipwreck), go loose on the island in order to hunt him.
