The healthcare, marketing, and national security industries have taken advantage of Big Data by hiring competitive intelligence analysts to gather and analyze data. Other industries need to face the reality that every area of the world can be changed in a positive way as the world becomes more technological. Big Data has been the driving force behind the technological advancements of the United States and is the reason the country will excel against others. The job market and economy will continue to grow with the jobs that will be created to manage and process Big Data. There are a number of ways Big Data can change the world and it is the job of the leaders in all industries today to recognize and capitalize on this opportunity.

The NSA’s goal is to protect the United States’ privacy and security by spotting or predicting possible international threats. State governments have also adopted the use of data analytics to decrease tax fraud and improve public safety and healthcare. Governments at both the federal and state level are questioned for violating privacy by collecting unnecessary information from United States citizens who are not threatening the nation’s security.
