The Mongolian Empire was one of the largest empires in the world. The Mongolian Empire was an empire ruled by Genghis khan. Genghis Khan did many things during his time, and he conquered many as the ruler. The Mongolian Empire, as well, lasted for a long time from 1206 to 1368. In addition, they had great military power. The Military power helped the empire become the strongest empire. One of the reasons why it conquered so much in its time. The Mongolian Empire was such a grand, and powerful empire and also due to it standing for so long it had the chance to make changes to the world then and now. There are both positive and negative effects and some people say that there are more negative effects and other people say that there are more positive. Yes, there are some ways that the Mongolian empire has impacted the world in a negative way. The Mongolian empire had killed more than 4 million people. Which has lowered the world population during that time, which most likely isn’t very good. Genghis Khan killed anyone that he didn’t need or that was in his way. Killing those people was estimated to be around 10% of the population(Andrei). However, if the Mongolian Empire didn’t kill all those people then there would be more heat than there already is. Due to the Mongolian Empire killing all those people it allowed land to grow and for more plants to grow. Which also allowed animals to have more room to hunt, eat, and live. This method is called deforestation(“How Genghis Khan Cooled the Planet”). He also ended up cooling the planet. With all the people that the Mongolian Empire has killed it ends up cooling down the planet. Even though the Mongolian Empire has done many horrible things there are more positives. For example, with the killing: they ended up saving the planet from heating up and instead ended up cooling it down and allowing forests to regrow.
