“The Lord of the Rings is an epic high fantasy novel written by English author and scholar J. R. R. Tolkien. The story began as a sequel to Tolkien's 1937 fantasy novel The Hobbit, but eventually developed into a much larger work. Written in stages between 1937 and 1949, The Lord of the Rings is one of the best-selling novels ever written, with over 150 million copies sold. “(Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). “If you really want to know what Middle-earth is based on, it’s my wonder and delight in the earth as it is, particularly the natural earth.”( J. Firstly he had to powers of all the Power Rings together but far more beyond them. Secondly the main reason behind all of his actions were to control the lesser rings and their wielders. Unfortunately his plan failed since he lost his ring in a battle. Later when he recovered his few powers left from the defeat he came back as The Great Eye he subdued the nine rings of power given to humans, transforming them into Nazguls lead by the Witch-King of Angmar, the commander of the Ringwraiths. We speaked summarly about the action itself caused by the ring but we don’t know clearly what effect had to its bearers. Next I will talk about his powers.
