It all started with women wanting rights and to be treated equally/fairly just like the men that led to the women’s rights movement that which led to me being signed in 1848. The Women’s Rights movement had its roots in abolitionism, I was also based on one of the most important documents to be created called “The Declaration Of Independence” which gave rights to U.S. citizens. Some of the women that created me were Elizabeth Cady Stanton, she was about 33 when she signed me and Lucretia Mott she was about 55, they were also very good people too. I am the Declaration of Sentiments, Grievance and Resolutions, which was created to give women the right to vote and that all men and women are to be treated equal.

is courage”. Did you know I was created in Seneca falls, New York at the Seneca Falls Convention in June of 1848. I saw about 100 people attend the convention and about two thirds were women and the rest were men, they were also the people that signed me. Some of the 32 men that signed me are Frederick Douglass, born in Talbot County,MD in 1818 he was about 30 years old when he attended the convention, and James Mott also attended he was born on June 20, 1788. he was around 60 years old when he attended. Some of the 68 women that signed me are Lucretia Mott, and Elizabeth Stanton, and Amy Post also attended the convention.
When Elizabeth Stanton, Lucretia Mott created me I was demanding women the right to vote, and that all men and women are equal and that women have to be treated like the others. Elizabeth C. Stanton read me at the Seneca Falls Convention on July 20th, 1848 and was also followed by the passage of 12 resolutions to women’s rights. The only resolution that I called for that did not pass which called for women’s suffrage (the right for women to vote), (which I was mad about).
