Also, I made this summary and the images used in it, but not the story because I’m not that good at writing. Please don’t count this text against my grade, please.

The Pigman revolves around the death of Angelo Pignati, and is told through the eyes of John Conlan and Lorraine Jensen, with each chapter switching between the two narrators. They write the story down on a computer chapter by chapter.

The story starts off with John describing his life, about how he was nicknamed the “bathroom bomber”, the stuff he does in school, and a little about his life. John, Lorraine, and their two “friends” Norbert and Dennis made this game where you call a random number from the phone book and you try to make that call last as long as possible. Dennis held the record at 2 hours and 26 minutes using a story that a rat bit his nose off and he was going to die from disease on an old lady desperate to talk to someone. John says the women always talk longer on the phone, so they’d peek a little to make sure they were calling a woman. It is Lorraine’s turn, and she ends up calling Angelo Pignati, who lives near their neighborhood. John takes over and says Mr. Pignati hung up, so Norbert and Dennis go home. However, John was lying, and tells Mr. Pignati that He and Lorraine are representatives of a charity fund called “the L & J Fund”. Angelo pledges $10 to the fund ($10 from back then is heaps more today. (Also, you never pledge money over the phone.)). Lorraine and John later go to get the money, and Lorraine feels terrible about it. John needs money for beer because he’s an alcoholic. They creep into the house and he gets them stuff, and he also shows them this huge glass pig collection. One of them was extremely important to him because it was related to his wife, Conchetta, and she went away to California, but that’s a lie because she actually died but you’re not supposed to know that just yet. They take the money, but Mr. Pignati asks them if they want to go to the zoo later and they do.

The next day, at the zoo, all this stuff happens and you meet Bobo the monkey, and there’s these 3 omens that omen about the future that Lorraine says she should’ve noticed. The first one was the woman selling peanuts: she dropped the peanut bag and that was an omen. The second was a peacock attacking Lorraine for the bag of peanuts she was holding. The third omen was this little boy staring at them in the bat cave like they were the ones in a
