The novel The Pilot’s Wife represents a well-explained example of betrayal. Betrayal is a high intensified subject in this novel because Kathryn, Jack’s wife, finds out that Jack had been cheating on her with another woman and had a family with her. Not only was Jack cheating, he was lying and using his daughter for illegal smuggling purposes.
