During World War II there were many techniques used in Wold War II propaganda posters. Not many people were comfortable with the decision made which involved working females. Many men made that clear in certain posters they hung around. The way things turned out probably wasn't the best but it was done in a rush knowing the circumstances men found themselves under. Some techniques used were to connect with the audience, using negative denotations, and fear. To connect with your audience it takes a lot of effort and research done. This time the men's audience would be women. From previous research, I came to discover that many men had trouble connecting with women as they believed women's lives revolved around cooking and completing household chores. It was painful and embarrassing for many men but they came to the conclusion that to get women to take action they had to accept the greatness their work would mean to the country. They told women they understood the hesitance as most of their lives they had endured the loneliness and boredom of only doing light work at home but they encouraged them to step out as it was time to do much more with their skills.
