For many college students, some of the most difficult decisions can come from the simplest situation. One of the main problems would be, “what laptop or computer should I purchase”. To the more astute computer user this would be an easy choice to make. This is because, the more experienced know what they want from their computers. But to the untrained, the question of which is a better computer, Apple Mac or Personal Computer, arises. Based on reviews and scientific studies, personal computers perform better because of their power in the computer, durability, and quality of the programs. The durability of PC’s far exceed those of MAC’s. All electronic devices on the market are required to take a “Drop Test”. This is when the device is dropped from a standard height, and the results judge the durability of the product. Based on these tests, a low level personal computer’s durability is the equivalent to the high level Mac computers. Another sign of durability rests in the keyboard keys. On Mac computers, the letters and symbols of the keyboard ware off after natural use. The reasoning behind this lies in where consumers go to get their computers fixed. PC’s have a less complicated system in terms of repairs.
