Today, all police cars have dashboard cameras but all they do is record what is going on in front of the police car. However, in the future dashboard cams may do even more such as identify suspects for police officers, detect guns or weapons and even have facial recognition. Coban Technology, a company out of Houston has been developing a new kind of webcam. One that uses artificial intelligence to help cops identify potential dangerous situations before they could.
