The electronic cigarettes are designed in different shapes and flavors to suit different tastes and preferences of the users. Some are designed to resemble USB memory sticks, traditional cigars and other commonly used materials such as pens (American Lung Association, n.d.). Electronic cigarettes are no longer news in many countries because it is already in the market in more 250 different brands and the number of users is increasing tremendously. However, the truth about safety issues of e-cigarettes is not known. Other people claim that the e-cigarettes are a way out to the smokers to help them quit smoking (Eversmoke, n.d.). By definition, e-cigarettes, also known as the electronic nicotine delivery system or the electronic cigarettes are devices operated by the use of a battery to assist in delivering nicotine mixed with certain chemicals and flavorings into the body system of the users in the form of vapor (National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2015). Nicotine is the cigarette substance that leads to addiction, therefore; it is only justifiable to say that e-cigarettes use a strategy of introducing people to smoking. In fact, once a person starts using the e-cigarettes, it is possible that the addiction will lead him or her to mix it with the traditional cigarettes because the effects by the two in the lives of the smokers are practically the same (National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2015). The users, therefore, supplement it with the traditional tobacco cigarettes whenever they cannot afford it (Carr, 2014). In fact, the companies producing the e-cigarettes apply expensive and advanced technology in making such products available to the users, it is therefore natural that the products become more expensive as compared to the traditional tobacco cigarettes, though more preferable (American Lung Association, n.d.). In most cases, the youths, who have become the highest growing number of e-cigarettes users find it hard to afford the product every time they need them, they end up using more of the traditional tobacco
