Controlling the Nation Is America really the land of the free? That may not have been the case during the late 1940’s and early 1950’s when the government supposedly abducted american citizens off the street so the CIA could perform experiments on their brains to achieve mind control. So, what do you really know about America and their little known mind control program called MK-Ultra? To get a better idea of the American projects, let's take a look on the reasons why they were testing. At the time, multiple countries were conducting tests on their citizen to use them as a weapon in time of war (Melissa) or if an enemy was captured from the opposing side they would experiment on them. If the trial was successful they would use them as a spy, unwillingly of course. The bigger, more known countries that did this were the Russian Soviet Union, Japan, Korea, and Nazi Germany. Russia was known to go to the extremes to accomplish this goal, they even went as far as depriving their victims of sleep and the necessities of life to see which brain would be easier to test on. Multiple doctors, military personnel, and government figures were involved in organizing and conducting experiments to help grow MK-Ultra into the biggest biological weapon the world has ever seen and let's not forget about the victims of these studies (Melissa). The citizens that were supposedly abducted were homeless people and others that would not be missed if they were to disappear forever (The CIA Can Do Mind Control). A lot of research papers also state that some murders were programed by MK-Ultra and that's why they did what they did.
