The war on terror was initiated and has been ongoing since the early stages of the Bush administration. And to this day, we can still see the symptoms of resentment towards the Islamic state and extremist groups. The animosity towards the Middle East as festered and boiled for roughly a decade and our current commander-in-chief isn’t remedying these issues, as well as a president, should. Through his actions and rhetoric, Donald Trump has made his distaste for this part of the world very clear, calling for a Muslim ban almost immediately into his term.
