Tap water, the water humans drink daily has always been corrosive and yet not most people are aware of that. What is the water being consume daily really made up of? Can the corrosion in the water have irreversible damage on a human body? After doing a little bit of research the actual question is, how can we make our water less corrosive or even better how can we make it 100% pure?
As most of the citizens in town know, our water has already been used a few times from other cities which means our water has already been contaminated with chemicals from unknown sources which makes its way into our bodies. Although other cities using the water before doesn’t exactly lead to the water being corrosive. The water we utilize travels through the house …show more content…

Although it might be a hassle having to change it so often it is definitely a safer way to change the tap water into a better one without deadly or harsh chemicals. If either one of those options are not possible to obtain there is one last alternative to making the water in the house less corrosive. Since the dissolving copper or lead is the problem the alternative choice is to leave the water running for around a minute or so in order to let the loose particles of copper or lead to flow out the faucet and down the drain making the water safer to drink without the harsh chemicals damaging your body.
Although letting the water run for a minute sounds like a great idea it has its disadvantage of letting too much water run which would cause the water bill to be much higher than it normally was. There are many ways to make your water less corrosive as stated previously and it is helpful and safer even though it does come with its disadvantages it is a helpful way to protect the human body without causing damage to it.
In conclusion, yes our water is indeed corrosive with harmful chemicals due to the copper or lead pipes in the houses. Our water is made up of used water and contaminated water
