The Gulf War has finally ended in what is being called a decisive victory by the government. U.S involvement has been present since mid-January of this year, but the war officially started in August of 1990 with the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. The invasion was looked down upon by many countries, including the U.S. For five weeks the U.S participated in aerial and naval bombing of Iraq. When the time came for us to land troops, they did not waste their time getting the job done. In less than 5 days we signed a ceasefire with the Iraqis and forced them to give up control of Kuwait. But recently, it appears that there is lots of controversy over the decision to leave Hussein in power. Some say it will help keep the region out of a potential civil
