ARGUMENT
It is important to promote continued tissue engineering because of the outstanding possibilities humans could accomplish with the success we could potentially discover with regenerative medicine. The whole purpose of gene therapy is to offer or alter genetic material to compensate for a genetic mistake that could cause infection or disease. By being allowed to ethically it's projected that gene therapy disease can correct and cure diseases and such that we do not have the medicine for. Mainly creating a faster route for patients to heal safer and more efficiently. This leads to many different ethical questions though, consider; you can regenerate your organs forever, and creating an immoral life that could live forever. With tissue Engineering there is such a wide variety of possibilities that could stem from it, but the overall cost out ways the consequences of the situation. Most tissues cannot regenerate following a disease or injury. Even in tissues that regenerate spontaneously may not be able to do so. For instance the liver is able to regenerate itself because of the type of cells they are made with, due to the hepatocytes re-entering the cell cycle …show more content…

Many issues regarding the supply, methods of organ allocation, and the use of living donor as volunteers including minors. It also has led some dark avenues of organ sales by entrepreneurs for financial gain. In some parts of the world the poor get exploited, for the benefit of the wealthy. Some people think that our society isn’t ready for organ transplants because of our morals. Clinical organs and tissue transplantation can be more helpful and life saving if more scientists, physicians , medical institutions, volunteers respect and consider the options for the patients in need of medical care. As well as still honoring the the ethical, religious, and moral values of society and the patients in need of
