Due to this, several researches have already been conducted in some countries like Vietnam that focused on the discoveries on the benefits of using TiO2 (Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, 2012). Air quality is a qualitative type of data, however, through the use of a standard measuring device, the researchers were able to obtain quantitative or numerical data. The researchers used a MQ-2 smoke detecting device during the data gathering procedure. Through MQ2 device and Arduino, the researchers were able to use an interactive sensor which can detect and indicate air quality values. Arduino is an electronic platform that has a programming language which indicates the air quality value that is being detected by MQ2. The Grove - Gas Sensor (MQ2) module is useful for combustible gases. And most of the pollutants are combustible gases. MQ2 is very reliable device because of its wide detecting scope, fast response and high sensitivity. Since the researchers needed numerical data for the quantitative research, Arduino was altered.
