Throughout history, torture has been practice as a way of punishment and

method to get information. Many countries and cultures have included this

strategy in their justice system. In fact, many people nowadays are against this

technic. But those people are obsoletely wrong. In 1984, the United Nations

General assembly adopted this topic to be in consideration. The fact that this

topic can cause misunderstandings and worries through the people, we can not

take in consideration that this will be and it has always been a good method of

In present days they are many ways of torturing someone. Torture is not

only something that affects you physically but is also something that can affect

your mind. Many people that are scared of something and when they see that

thing they just are doing damage to their minds. Torture is an effective way to

get information, or a confession about something. It was used in ancient times,

and also is used in the modern period. In addition, torture may not be use for

that hurt of people like it was in times before, but this method can be use this

days for getting information out of peoples, criminal, etc. This can be used or

it can be a good method for those police forces and other international, and

national military organizations.
