That is exactly how it was when Hitler slowly came to power in Germany and began to take over. Hitler blamed the Jews for all of the problems in Germany. He told people that they had too much power over the whole of Germany and that soon enough it would not be unique to its native customs. Sounds a little familiar right? In our culture the racism is more towards Blacks and Mexican immigrants, more specifically illegal Mexican immigrants.
The United States just elected a new president recently. This is a major event, because this is a country that values the citizens right to vote above many other rights and privileges. President Clinton is about to select his first nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court. In the next few months, Governor Schaefer will get an opportunity to fill key vacancies in Maryland 's two highest courts. It 's a good time to rethink the criteria for selecting judges. Douglas You may be able to see parallels from then to today in other countries but I fail to see how people sneaking into our country illegally and getting a job from a business in this country illegally has anything to do with slavery or labor laws. I would agree with you if we were rounding up immigrants and bringing them into our country and forcing them to work for cheap labor. That is not the case, immigrants are risking their lives and their families lives to come into The United States of America to escape the hell that they were living in and work for more money than they have ever made in their entire lives. I don't agree with companies hiring anyone that is in this country illegally and think the punishment for doing so should be
Racism is around us. It is everywhere. One might not notice it but, there sure are racist people out there. On television screens, on papers,
One of the biggest controversies in the United States today is immigration. This is a huge topic in the country today because there is numerous people on both sides of the Comprehensive Immigration Reform that present great evidence about it. This reform is impacting millions of immigrants that are working and living in the Unites States today, but it also affects the people that are citizens of the United States. In this paper I am going to present arguments from both sides of the Comprehensive Immigration Reform, then come to a conclusion on which side I choose to place my opinion. There are a lot of worthy things that this reform is going to accomplish for immigrants in the United States.
Hillary Clinton has been viewed as a joke, an untalented as well as an unpromising female Presidential Candidate. From enforcing and changing gay rights, to putting a stop to abortion by “supporting adoption and foster care” (Meckler 3), including the reduction of the amount of unnecessary incarcerations. People should put their irrelevant judgements aside, and look at the positives and life changing decisions brought to us by this wonderful woman. Even the president, who should be taking caring of all multiracial citizens in the country, is a racist. Nonetheless, there has been constant effort and changes to expunge racism such as Martin Luther King Jr’s letter from the Birmingham Jail, marches, protests, and court cases like Brown v. Board of education in the past. Other than those, people still need to work on annihilating the racism, which still remains in our culture and stomping on African American’s hearts.
Around the early 1900s, racism was prominent and wasn't sugarcoated either. African Americans had to deal with many obstacles around this period because of the discrimination involed in their lives. These actions effected many African Americans because it forced some of them to hate the world and limit many of their opportunities in life. Racism is sad reality in our nation that affects all types of people and it continues to shake and alter lives. People use racism as a sort of way to detect the differences with their peers and spike bias towards a group of people.

Ever since then, it seems that the problem has only been on the rise, rather than the opposite. Racism has always been a major issue, although hundreds of years have passed since the birth of racism, the problem just seems to never go away.
